About the Performers

The Duo Brauchli-Elizondo was formed in 1982, specializing in the performance of early music for two keyboard instruments.

Bernard Brauchli is on the faculty of the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston and president of the Cambridge Society for Early Music. He is also founder and president of Festival Music Antica a Magnano in Italy.

Estéban Elizondo is organ professor and director of the Conservatory of Music in San Sebastian, Spain. He has been especially influential in the restoration of the baroque organs in the Basque provinces and has made recordings of several of these instruments.
