About the Performer

Born in San Sebastían in 1945, Esteban Elizondo received his musical education at the conservatory in that city, winning first prize at the conclusion of the piano and organ curricula. Next he moved to Vienna where he studied with Anton Heiller. Later he attended various courses with, among others, Marie-Claire Alain and Ferdinando Tagliavini.

Elizondo has payed at international festivals of Sion, Kosice, Toledo, Santander, and Cracow. He has recorded for Radio Suisse Romande. Presently he is Director and organ professor at the Conservatory of San Sebastían.
