About the Performers

Lanny Pollet is on the faculty of the University of Victoria's School of Music where he teaches flute, orchestration, and chamber music. He performs regularly in chamber music recitals, is frequently heard on CBC Radio, and each summer performs with the Victoria International Music Festival Contemporary Music Ensemble. He was a founding member of the Pacific Wind Quintet and has toured with the Cassenti Players and Vancouver CBC Radio Orchestra.

Bruce Vogt has performed throughout Canada as recitalist and soloist with orchestra and has inspired audiences in England, the U.S.A., Germany, France, Italy, and Norway. He completed his musical studies with Damjana Bratuz and Anton Kuerti with continued studies in the United States, Switzerland, and Italy, working with György Sebök, Louis Kentner, Fou Ts'ong, and Dario De Rosa. He has taught at Acadia University, the University of Western Ontario, Lakehead University, and is currently Head of the Piano Department and Associate Professor at the School of Music, University of Victoria.
