About the Performer
William Anderson studied with David Starobin. Throughout the 1980s he performed orchestral, vocal, and chamber music at the Tanglewood Festival. He has toured Holland, Poland, and the United States. Anderson founded and is co-director of CYGNUS, an ensemble specializing in contemporary music. He is a member of the New Music Consort and frequently collaborates with the Composers Guild of New Jersey. He teaches at Sarah Lawrence College and SUNY/Purchase.
