About the Performers

The Musicians of the Old Post Road are dedicated to the performance of chamber music of the Baroque through the early Romantic era on period instruments. The ensemble includes a singer and eight wind, string, and keyboard instrumentalists who are principal performers of the Old Post Road Historic Concerts series. Since 1989 this series has presented concerts of 17th-, 18th-, and 19th-century chamber music on period instruments in historical locations along the 300-year-old Boston Post Road. The Musicians have performed together in the United States and Europe since 1987.
