The fortepiano is by Clementi, about 1806. The piano is a Schiedmayer model A-1.

About the Performer

Stephen Siek has concertized throughout North America and has received wide acclaim for the extreme refinement of his performances. He has conducted extensive research on music from the Federal period, and his numerous articles have appeared in publications such as American Music and the forthcoming New Revised Grove. An active performer, he holds a Ph.D. in musicology from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. He is currently on the faculty of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.
